A note from the Artist: (please view slideshow below)
“On November, 23 I was invited to attend Jason Mraz at Carnegie Hall, NYC by Erik Abrahamson, a very dedicated supporter of musicians, who is impressively attending concerts monthly by supporting popular artists from the 70′s, 80′s and 90′s.
I am currently building on a portfolio of musicians who are primarily 50+ with the exception of Jason Mraz. My goal is to memorialize them with my paintings, while they are still performing. I am always impressed at each concert I attend how incredibly strong they still are today! I would say in most cases outstanding!”
*Please note: The painting of Jason Mraz was created by Kristina Applegate and children in Vermont, Nicaragua and Guatemala. (To ready the full story of how the tissue art was created, please visit: http://kswcostaricaoregon.wordpress.com)
