Collage Portrait & Illustrator
My passion is Art and Kids. For the past 20 years I have enjoyed illustrating Musicians. My techniques range from Black and White Ink drawings to a collage technique, using hand-painted papers created by children, which are cut and layered into my paintings.
Currently I have commissioned opportunities to paint musicians, attend their concerts and in some cases meet the artist and have my painting signed.
I founded Kids Share Workshops in 2007 which allowed me to work with kids in Nicaragua, Guatemala, Vermont, Oregon and Costa Rica. I have been teaching Eric Carle’s Tissue Art technique to children through the Kids Share Enrichment Program. The children allow me to take some of their tissue art home, which gets placed into my paintings.
